The Terra Brantley Foundation, Inc. is partnering with Genesis Outreach to provide a one-time, non-renewable $1,500 Second Chance Scholarship to an adult, 19 years or older, who will be pursuing the completion of a college/university education and subsequent degree.
Applicants must provide a 600-word essay that describes obstacles they have overcome, including incarceration is applicable. Inclusion of jail time will not disqualify the applicant. The applicant must include their current life status and pursuits as well as future goals. Applicant must secure two recommendation letters from a non-relative such as a pastor, Genesis Outreach staff member, employer, etc. and provide current contact information for those who sign the letters. Once the scholarship is awarded, the recipient must provide proof of college/university acceptance and proof that they’re enrolled as a part-time or full-time student in an accredited college or university in Indiana.
