Albert Brownlee

Albert Brownlee | CEO

Albert T. Brownlee is the CEO of Genesis Outreach, Inc. Through his leadership, the company has successfully secured and administered multiple grants for affordable housing programs serving low-income individuals and families totaling over $7.5 million to date. Albert attended Clark Atlanta University and Indiana University where he earned the following degrees: Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Bachelor of General Studies, and Master of Business Administration. He is a 2013 awardee for 40 Under 40 by the Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly, a 2010 graduate of Leadership Fort Wayne, a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and Abundant Life Church. He is happily married and is the proud parent of 4 children.

Fatima Washington | Assistant Director

Fatima Washington serves as the Assistant Director of Genesis Outreach, Inc.  In addition to assisting the CEO in executive leadership of the organization, she is directly responsible for daily operations and program oversight.  In her previous role as the Self-Sufficiency Resource Coordinator, Fatima worked to connect clients to resources within the community that would better prepare them for educational, employment, and financial advancement. Additionally, she oversaw transitional housing services and all onsite residential programming designed to increase life skills and sobriety while eliminating barriers to self-sufficiency and permanent housing. Fatima holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She has worked in the Northeast Indiana social services arena for several years and is well-respected amongst her peers.

Candice Hall | Counselor

Candice Hall began her employment with Genesis Outreach in February 2013. She provides onsite counseling for residents of the transitional living program and assists with case management support to clients who have been deemed at-risk. Candice has a long history of working in the Social Services arena. She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Ball State University and a Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of Saint Francis. Most recently, she received a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling. She is the proud mother of one son, Jalen, who enjoys dance and playing football. Candice enjoys spending time with her son, going to the movies, and watching Colts football.

Gina Brooks | Housing Services Manager

Gina Brooks began her career with Genesis Outreach, Inc. in 2006 as a Residential Manager. Today, she serves as the Housing Services Manager where she oversees all community housing programs and services. In this role, she provides property management, case assistance, and essential supportive services to formerly homeless tenants residing in permanent housing developed or managed by Genesis Outreach, Inc. Gina is a fulltime Nursing student at Indiana-Purdue University Fort Wayne where she anticipates receiving her Bachelors degree with high honors in December 2016. She has been married for 23 years to her husband, Jamal, and is the proud mother of two children.

Steffan Rice | Client Services Manager

Steffan Rice joined the Genesis Outreach team in the spring of 2016 as the Senior Case Manager. In May 2017 he became our Client Services Manager. A graduate of Indiana Tech, Steffan received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2011. He has over 6 years of social service field experience involving youth mentorship, family services, and crisis intervention.

Patricia Green-Simpson | Residential Services Coordinator

Patricia is returning to the Genesis Outreach family as Residential Services Coordinator. She previously worked for the organization from 2010 until 2014 as the Housing Coordinator. In her new role, she will assist the Housing Services Manager in maintaining and overseeing residential programs, services, and client relations. Patricia has over 20 years of experience in working with subsidized housing, low-income families, and HUD programs. She is a graduate of Trine University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and holds several certifications in affordable housing program compliance. In her personal life, Patricia is the mother of two children, Qeyocha and Kenyatta, and has one grandchild with whom she enjoys spending time while away from work.
